Staining the Kitchen Floor

Today. we decided to stain the kitchen floor. We chose to stick with the color I had originally stained it, MinWax Colonial Maple. I say MinWax, because another brand Colonial Maple, could be a shade or two different.

This step in the process is arguably the easiest step. You just take a piece of cloth, dab it in the stain and wipe it on the wood. If you want the piece to be uniform, then use uniform amounts across the whole piece. If you want the piece to be a bit more natural, then you use more on some spots and less on other spots.

My daughter Brylynn decided she wanted to help me with this video today and she was kind enough to wear her OG shirt. Isn't she so sweet to support her daddy?
